meet freshman coach Kevin coldwell

Coach Coldwell is excited to join the Chaparral High School Basketball Program as the Freshman Coach for the 2025-2026 season. Coach Kev was born and raised in Arizona and played travel basketball his whole life after learning from his sister and started coaching at 16 years old. After a few years of learning under some pro WNBA and FIBA coaches, he started running his own club program APE Basketball Academy. He has previously coached at Coronado High School and Ingleside Middle School, as well as a season as the Chaparral Girls Basketball Coach. He is happy to be back in the Firebird Family and we are excited to have him this season.
